I just wanna say Merry X'mas and a Happy New Year to all!
It may not be the best of years but hey, we are still alive and kicking, aren't we?!
Stay happy, I am trying to and you should also.
I am Dave... no pretending, no secrets, just me. What you see is what you get. Nothing much, just coast along with my so-called life.

Above and over the calendar...
Time passes by like a breeze... one moment you feel its coming and then suddenly, it has passed you by.
On Nov. 29 2007, I am 32.
At 32, I have 4 kids. One failed marriage, and another failed relationship in the making.
I don't know... I guess I do not deserve to have a happy intact family. My mom and pop separated when I was seven, my first marriage ended a years back and now my current flame is going agog over her first love in high school.
Gimme a fucking break!!!
Maybe I deserve to be alone. I deserve to just work, earn money, give money for the kids... and then die a lonely man.
I am tired.. I am so tired... to say the least.
For the first time in my life... I feel so old. Oh maybe... maybe... I am not worthy.
I don't know, everything for me right now is up for grabs.
Hail Mary save my ass for I am now harvesting the karma of my sins.
Amen.

Far, far away...
Two days ago, I received an email which I thought was spam for its subject is in bold letters and it reads "URGENT JOB HIRING".
It turns out that it came from a colleague who is now based in ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia. He's inviting me to send my resume for he felt that I may be an asset to their company.
I am flattered to say least. I am excited. Dave is going abroad.
There was a time long ago I said to myself "I will never go abroad"... but those were the idealistic times of the past.
Although I love my work here in Paniqui, Tarlac.. I hate my salary. Honestly, it can't support my kids. I want to be there for my kids.. for all of them. If I can't be physically there, maybe I could do best via financial support... because for now... I can't aptly provide.
Oh well, KSA here I come! But then, I hope I am qualified and they will be interested of me.
"Mahirap pero kailangan kong maghirap para sumarap naman buhay ng mga anak ko."
**Me crosses fingers**

Where in the world is Dave?!
So for my friends who has been looking for me after I left my previous work... I am now in Paniqui, Tarlac doing the same job for a new boss.
I now lead their eGovernance project which includes the computerization of their business registration processes and of course the development and maintenance of their website at http://paniqui.gov.ph.
So far so good... and someone so special in my life came last October 12, 2007.
That's all for now folks!

The webmaster is out...
A few years back, I wrote my swan song in which I said that I would finally leave my work in favor of a job abroad. Many reacted to it, as some were even gone sad hearing that I am leaving my work at the local government unit...
Funny that it took years for that swan song to become a reality.
That reality is NOW. Today is my last day of work here at the local government unit of Gerona, Tarlac. My resignation is effective July 16, 2007.
Plans?! I may put up a small business (VCD, DVD rental!), and pursue some other things like FOSS promotion to government and non-government offices alike. If someone will lend me funds, I may also put up a computer shop... but then that is still a long way to go considering that I am not sure who may ever lend me money to put up an internet cafe or computer shop. Anyone?!
If nothing works here, I may try my luck abroad.
For now, I am doing a FOSS migration for the Ramos General Hospital and hoping to snatch Signa Bank as both companies have the same majority stock holder (crosses fingers really tight).
The road ahead is still a bit fuzzy... but with some luck and perseverance, I hope I can pull it through.
Good luck to ME. I am now part of statistics = UNEMPLOYED.
P.S.: I had time today to browse all my past blogs... and I was a bit amazed (and embarrassed at the same time) that I was actually the one who wrote those entries. I may blog more frequent, especially when I'll be able to buy a PC.

This Song is Intended for Humans...
I am a big fan of these two great actors... Hugh Grant (since Four Weddings and a Funeral) and Drew Barrymore (since Wedding Singer!).
And so to see them in one lovely movie is an overkill for me... plus a wonderful song that lingers on my mind...
And here I am sharing this song that is intended for humans to you via YouTube... Way Back into Love!

La lang...
Yesterday, afternoon I has having a nice Y!M chat with two ladies who are both talking to me about their upcoming marriage.
Girl #1 is asking me who would she choose... a man who came just recently but already she knows that he is the one she wanted all her life or the man with whom she has known for quite sometime?
At first, it baffled me... that is until I learned that the man she wanted all her life is the one who is willing to commit to her forever, while the man she has known for quite some time told her to wait for four years before they talk again about marriage.
Ok, now I get it. I simply told her that if she isn't in a hurry, try to study the new guy first but don't dump the "old" guy just yet. Goodluck J!
Girl #2: We talked about her vacation here in the Philippines and Thailand. She had so much fun because she's with her boyfriend. They plan to get married on a simple church wedding within the year. Congrats D!
So what's is it for me?! These two wonderful ladies... once upon a time... were both my girlfriends. Somehow I found it weird that I am chatting with them at the same time talking about the same thing... that is marriage... a subject that we once talked about of getting into when we were so much inlove then...
